Sightseeing

The Lednice-Valtice Area is especially attractive in the summer season. Since 1996, it has been on the list of UNESCO. It is the largest landscape park in the continental Europe. Many exotic woods and romantic buildings are to be found there. The Lednice-Valtice Area is graced by the castle of Lednice and its adjacent park with a minaret. Other tourist-attractive spots are also the castle of Valtice, an artificial ruin called Janohrad, the lookout of Rajstna etc. Close to the LV Area, there is also the historic town of Mikulov and the protected area of Palava, a biosphere reservation.

You can spend your free time in many ways in our region. There is a lot of sightseeing, many wine cellars, bicycle paths, wine paths, ponds where swimming is possible.
